The Master's program Sustainable Energy Technology (SET) is an interdisciplinary program in which six departments work together. The six departments are: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Applied Physics, Architecture, Building and Planning and Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences. This collaboration ensures that energy technologies are highlighted from different perspectives.
In the master Sustainable Energy Technology you will be trained to be an engineer with scientific knowledge who can analyze the current energy transition from techno-economic and social perspectives. With courses given by the various departments, you will receive a broad education but will also have plenty of opportunities to deepen your specialization in the aspect of the energy transition that interests you. Topics include the operation of the current energy market, the electricity network, the operation of energy sources such as solar panels, solar collectors, heat pumps, wind energy, biomass, and the global impact of renewable energy sources.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study.
